This is my letter that I did for our task which was to write a letter from a soldiers point of view about WW1. We watched some videos as well to get some ideas about how the soldiers would have felt.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Ms Kirkpatrick.

Building A Deck- Ms Kirikpatrick
Building a Deck
It was time for Annie to get a new deck. She wanted a big deck outside her back door. So Annie called the builders and they came over. Before they could start she had to buy all the materials for the deck.
Then the builders came to start work. First they started to cut the wood to the right size. The builders then put the frame together and put it into the ground. Then they put the planks of wood on top, they laid them all out. Next they had to nail and glue it into the framework. Finally they started to clean up the dust from the planks and finish up with the painting.
When there were finished it was a smooth deck with steps. Then when Annie saw it she said “Wow”! Then she said “that's amazing! Thank you.”
This is my writing that I did with Ms Kirkpatrick, please enjoy.

Understanding of Bias
For this DLO I worked with Zahn the LI is L.I: To understand there are different sides to provocation. We had to create an Ifaketext between Police, Bus Driver, Bus Driver Boss and Public. I picked Police and Zahn picked Bus Driver Boss. We made a Bias conversation using Ifaketext, Bias means 1 point of view, provocation means a reaction to something and point of view means perspective. It is important to look at both sides to a story or provocation if you wan to make a informed choice.
Current Events Bus Strikes
This is our DLO Sebastian and I made this Current Events drawing about bus strike. We discussed about the strike. We used these questions who, what , where , when, why and how this helped me find out what happens to make the buses on strike. I used this site to give me more information about about the Auckland bus strike.

A Memorable Journey-Ms Kirkpatrick
A Memorable Journey
My Mum and Dad decided to take the family to Wellington to visit my Uncle. We went to my Uncle’s house because it was his birthday. It was a boring plane ride from Auckland to Wellington. I slept with my cousins because their room was huge enough for all of us. We had the birthday party in their really enormous backyard.
