Kiwi Sport - Futsal and Tennis
On Thursday the senior school went to the Dunkirk Tennis courts. Fist group (A) played Futsal first. We were split into three team, Black,White and Red. I was in the red team, I was with San Kyaw, Oh Hsen, Tai, Magenta, Nazella. Our instructor Martin gave us instruction to play against the white team, we played four players and one person to defend the goal. At the end of this games it was a tie 0-0. Then we had to stay on the court to play against the black team. Finally we got two points, and the black team two points ass well, I was the one that the goals for my team and Sylis got the points for his team. At the end of this game it was a tie game. Then we moved on to Tennis, in tennis we learned how to control the ball by look at the ball. Then we played a game that you have to be in partners, and get balls and rackets. The aim of this is to hit the ball back to the partners, I think that me and my partner did this well. A big thank to Martin and Neville for coaching us and Mr O for organising this trip.

Also, there are two types of Kokako: The north island and the south island Kokako. We did the north island type because the camp was in the north island.

The Hardest Steps of My Life...
When it was my turn to go up on the beam I felt nervous. I wanted to go up and come down right away. Step by step up the ladder and up the rungs.
I went to the beam, before I knew it both of my feet were on the beam. I was wrapping my hands around the pole. I asked the instructor "Can I get off now?" but she told me I had to walk a bit. I balanced my way through a quarter of the walk. I was so scared that my legs were quivering. When I was told to step off the beam, I struggled to do it.
When I finally got off, I felt a sigh of relief that I was on my way down. I felt really proud of myself because I had achieved something I though I never would.
This is my recount on one of the events that happen at camp. We had to do five minutes of camp, I picked the High ropes, I wrote what I was feeling and what I was doing.
