Winter Learning Journey - Day 3 Activity 1
For this activity I had to pick New Zealand Native Animal I would adopt. I decided to adopt the kiwi. The kiwi is a flight less bird. The kiwi lives around the forests. The kiwi eat Seeds, Grubs and Worms. Here is a photo of a kiwi.

Hello Eric, I didn't know that Kiwis eat seeds and grubs. For this activity I chose the Kea. You are doing an amazing job completing activities so keep it up.

ReplyDeleteI've always found it interesting that the Kiwi can't fly... Did you know that they are also nocturnal? Which means that they sleep during the day and are awake at night (the opposite of us)!
Thanks for sharing your facts about the Kiwi! I'm wondering, what would you name your adopted Kiwi?
