Summer Learning Journey - Week 1 - Day 4 - Activity 1

For Day 4 Activity 1 of the Summer Learning Journey the task has to find your favourite Maori Waiata. I listen to a couple of Waita's I have found He Honore which is one of the Waiatas that we sing in assembly. I chose this because I know how to sing this Waiata.

    Kia Ora Eric,

    Thank you so much for sharing the Waiata! I really enjoyed listening to it :) It is a great song and I know a lot schools enjoy singing this at their assembly too. Such a popular song! Do you play guitar? I love how the YouTube clip includes the chords so anyone can play along! I play a little bit of guitar myself.

    Maybe you could include the translation of the song, that way any viewers who read your blog will understand what the song is about. :)
